Selections by Jack London, Evelyn Waugh, Norman Maclean, Redmond
O'Hanlon, Sir Wilfred Thesiger, H.M. Tomlinson, Algernon Blackwood.
The wilderness--forest, desert, glacier, jungle--has been the scene of
the past century's most exciting stories, inspiring many of its greatest
writers, including Jack London, Norman Maclean, Evelyn Waugh, Redmond
O'Hanlon, Sir Wilfred Thesiger, H.M. Tomlinson and Algernon Blackwood.
Selections from these authors' most gripping works are delivered by
equally compelling narration producing an audiobook experience ideal for
people who are fascinated by the beauty, insight and danger that awaits
us all in the wild.

REVIEWS
Los Angeles Times
My favorite is Wild: Stories of Survival from the World's Most Dangerous Places.
The most literary of the bunch, it consists of stories by Evelyn Waugh,
Norman Maclean, Jack London and the extremely witty Redmond O'Hanlon.
This collection did exactly what an anthology is meant to do: It
introduced me to new writers and presented new stories from authors with
whom I am already acquainted. It made me laugh, scared me and held me
in thrall."
Philadelphia Inquirer
"Armchair adventurers would be pleased with any of the new 'Adrenaline' recordings from Listen & Live Audio."
Chapel Hill News
"Each set has a variety of four or five narrators, all of whom are
excellent readers. Variety comes in the stories themselves, which
portray a wide range of experiences. Many of the stories will keep you
on the edge of your seat. Others will make you marvel and wonder at
these crazy fools who risk their lives."
